Watch our ‘Soil carbon capacity building’ webinars

The Soil CRC’s free ‘Soil carbon capacity building’ webinar series aims to help NSW farmers, landholders and advisors navigate the complexities of managing soil carbon on-farm. Six webinars have already been delivered and one webinar remains in the seven-part series, which offers guidance on soil management changes and increasing soil carbon.

The first two webinars focused on soil data access and interpretation and were hosted by the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. Soil CRC grower group participants hosted the remaining webinars with a focus on region-specific opportunities and practices for soil carbon management relevant to the local farming systems and environment.

Upcoming webinar

The final webinar, ‘Opportunities and practices for soil carbon management in South Central NSW’, will be hosted by FarmLink.

Presenters: Dr Abe Gibson, a Research Fellow from Southern Cross University, and Dr Cassandra Schefe, Principal Scientist at AgriSci.
