Farming on South Australia’s Eyre peninsula for more than a century means the Kuhlmann family has plenty of experience dealing with the difficult challenges to cropping that calcareous soils present.
So the announcement of GRDC’s investment in new research into these hostile soils has come as welcome news to grain grower Peter Kuhlmann.
