Crops on highly calcareous soils have poor vigour and low water use efficiency. This presentation outlines the research from a project co-funded by the Soil CRC and GRDC working in conjunction with local farmer groups to overcome constraints in the topsoil and subsoil in calcareous soils in South Australia.
