The Soil CRC is excited to be an Exhibition Partner at AgriFutures evokeAG. 2026, Asia Pacific’s premier agrifood technology and innovation event. The conference runs from 17 to 18 February at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Victoria and aims to deliver insights, networks and opportunities to connect with industry.
We will be showcasing our latest soil technology at the exhibition and sharing some of the achievements of the Soil CRC. Delegates will be able to see the BILBY® wireless communication node for soil sensors, our QUOLL® e-nose for soil health monitoring, and components of our BANDICOOT® soil probe for measuring soil compaction, moisture and salinity.
Our CEO Dr Michael Crawford will be hosting our exhibition stand, along with Soil CRC researcher and agtech innovator Simon Edwards (University of Tasmania), our Intellectual Property Manager, Dr Rhona Hammond and Adoption Manager, Felicity Harrop.
“evokeAG. provides a great avenue for researchers, investors, startups, corporates and policymakers to connect and collaborate to accelerate investment in and adoption of new agtech,” Dr Crawford said.
“We are looking forward to showcasing our soiltech innovations, which have been developed with researchers from the University of Tasmania and other Soil CRC partners to make it easier for Australian farmers and advisors to measure and manage soil health.
“The Soil CRC is currently seeking investors and development partners for our QUOLL® e-nose and BANDICOOT® soil probe, so that we can get these devices into farmers’ hands sooner.”
