Soil carbon in Australia and Europe

The Soil CRC collaborated with Fertilizer Australia, the International Fertiliser Society and the International Nitrogen Initiative to deliver three webinars on soil carbon management. They explored the practicalities of managing soil carbon in diverse farming conditions with a focus on both Australia and Europe. The comparisons and differences between approaches to soil carbon management in Australia and Europe were very interesting.

Each webinar included a presentation by both an Australian and a European scientist, followed by a panel discussion. The CRC’s CEO, Dr Michael Crawford facilitated the webinar session on soil carbon in arable cropping systems.

The webinar series occurred in May 2022 and recordings has so far attracted more than a thousand people from across the globe. These recordings are available here.
