The soil organic amendment trial is a West Midlands Group trial hosted in Badgingarra, and supported by Murdoch University and the Soil CRC. In this trial, organic amendment treatments are applied to soil to measure improvements to soil water repellency. This in turn creates healthier, more productive soils – improving grain yield and preventing bare paddocks.

This video demonstrates soil water repellency on the trial site before and after treatment. It features Nathan Craig (WMG Executive Officer), Dr Richard Bell (Murdoch University) and Simon Yeap (Murdoch University).
