We caught up with Soil CRC Project Leader Dr Yunying Fang (Griffith University) at the 2024 Soil CRC Participants Conference to find out about her new project, ‘Organic-based nitrogen fertilisers for crop production and soil health’ (3.1.009). This research will scale up the manufacturing of three innovative fertilisers and carry out large-scale glasshouse and field trials to optimise usage and placement across different cropping systems, agroclimatic conditions and soil types.
