Deep sandy soils across the Western Australian wheatbelt present major challenges: low fertility, poor water and nutrient retention, non-wetting, and high acidity. This long-term experiment (2022–2026) evaluated the combined effects of clay incorporation, deep ripping, and legume intercropping across a full crop rotation.
