The Soil CRC’s Social Benchmarking Project is undertaking surveys of land managers in six regions across Australia. It is producing one of the most rigorous and extensive data sets pertaining to the values, beliefs, knowledge and practices, past, current and intended, of farmers and other rural Australian landholders.
This project will develop an online tool to facilitate access to the dataset by interested farmer groups, advisors, farmers, researchers and policy makers. The tool, a dashboard, will be developed and trialled within the Soil CRC for this project.
When the Soil CRC comes to an end in mid-2027, the tool will be made available for ongoing general public access, acting as a key legacy for the Soil CRC.
