New film highlights importance of soil health

Thankful4Farmers has partnered with Nviro Media to produce a new film that celebrates what Australian farmers are doing to improve soil health.

Titled ‘Thankful for Soil’, the 21-minute documentary aims to raise awareness of the importance of soil health and showcase the benefits of climate smart farming practices.

It features Mattew Evans (Gourmet Farmer, Fat Pig Farm) and personal stories from leading farmers who are working to nurture our soils and bring life back to the land.

Soil CRC CEO Dr Michael Crawford also appears on the film, speaking about the importance of soil and the role of the National Soil Strategy in collectively managing soil health over the next 20 years.

The producers hope that sharing these stories will inspire others to join the movement for healthier soils and a more sustainable future.

‘Thankful for Soil’ is now screening on Qantas domestic and international flights via the Qantas Entertainment App. You can find it onboard on the App under TV/Documentaries/Thankful for Soil.
