CANCELLED – 2021 Participants Conference

We have had to make the unfortunate but necessary decision to cancel the 2021 Soil CRC Participants Conference (again!).

There was a lot of enthusiasm for the concept of the Conference, but the majority of our participant organisations have (understandably) expressed a reluctance in allowing their staff to travel interstate given the circumstance around COVID. 

Many identified the potential risk of being impacted by a sudden COVID-inspired lockdown, and having staff stranded interstate or having to self-isolate when they returned home.

We want to hold a conference with a good number of our participants attending, and if we can’t do this, then we believe the best option is to cancel the conference. We apologise for any inconvenience that this decision causes for anyone in making their plans for March.

In place of the conference, we will focus on bringing our research to you once again via webinars and this newsletter. Watch out for details of upcoming Soil CRC webinars in future issues of this newsletter and via our website and social media.

We are planning for a 2022 Soil CRC Participants Conference in Adelaide in March next year, and hopefully, we will all be able to come together again once more.
